Well, it seems that our Western states aren't alone in allowing incompetents to occupy seats on their respective state supreme courts. Here is another crazy example of how our personal rights and freedoms are being trampled upon by some truly 'bone headed' decisions by local state courts. As hinted in the article, this opens up the flood gates for a totalitarian local constabulary that can run roughshod over the local population at will. The next step will be the ability of a police officer to stop, detain, and search a person just because they "look suspicious."

Local and state courts aren't alone in this insanity either as shown by the recent ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court that business entities should be treated as 'individuals' which opened the door for nearly unlimited financial manipulation of our Congress by big business interests. I am beginning to think that Alzheimer's Disease and Senility are becoming a systemic problem in our court system in these United States.
